Guillermo Krips is a highly decorated former Police Inspection of St. Marteen.
He attended the police academy in Curacao and after passing the exam and being transferred to Aruba, Mr. Krips arrived on St. Maarten in October 1983 where he started out working in the Surveillance Department. Soon after, he transitioned into the Traffic Department and later the Immigration Department.
In 1991, Krips was appointed second in command at the Detective Department where he worked as an action chief inspector. From then until his retirement in November 2012 which made 41 years in total working at (KPNA) and Korps Politie St. Maarten (KPSM), he was promoted several times as an Inspector and Chief Inspector.
After retirement, Mr. Krips was given the opportunity to stay for an additional year serving as an Adviser to the Detective Department. In each rank, there is a certain training course you must follow and Mr. Krips choose fraud and money laundering which took place in the Netherlands for six weeks in a detective course.

As a former member of the United States Marine Corps, Jason Barbosa served with the elite Marine Corps Amphibious Reconnaissance Teams. While serving he received trainings from both civilian and military personnel, and has utilized in real world scenarios each of the following topics of training: Reconnaissance and Surveillance, Ship Inspection and Search, Hull Searching, Hydrographic Surveys, Vehicle Inspections, Dive Control Specialist and Mark 5 diving certifications, Maritime Interdictions, identification of key strengths and areas of improvement in security coverage and operations, Counter Terrorism, Urban Surveillance, Direct Action Tactics, Close Quarters Battle Tactics, Hostage Recovery, and Weapons Certifications.
Mr. Barbosa has also worked as a recovery diver for government agencies, and as an instructor for “Hike, Stalk, and Shoot” training international and domestic police agencies on hull searching and evidence search and recovery tactics. Among his experience he has also worked security details for celebrity and political figures in combat zones throughout the world. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University, and a Masters from Chapman University. He brings over 20 years of leadership and security experience which includes planning and designing of crisis interventions, conducted large (500+) and small (50) group trainings, public speaking, safety and security by design, budget analysis, data analysis, and the coordination of first responders in crisis situations.
